Our Hollow, Our Home / The Maze, Nottingham | 28th of March

The Maze has been a foundation for small, and young bands in Nottingham for years, a stable fixture in the music community. It is friendly local venue, that’s such a size you feel close to the band, they’re not miles away behind a row of security and physical barriers, something that bands often take advantage of by coming down into the audience during the show, as well as after. On a Wednesday evening in March, it hosted a mammoth set of five metal bands.

PRIMAL / The Maze, Nottingham | 27th of March

On Tuesday 27th March, The Maze’s Notts in a Nutshell hosted four local artists who each displayed raw talent and provided great entertainment for those who came. Performing were PRIMAL: a blues rock power trio, Frank: a local guitar-heavy Indie Rock band, Black Cabinet: a blues-inspired rock n roll trio and Tom Shawcroft: an indie singer-songwriter.

Oddity Road / The Bodega, Nottingham | 16th of March

With a restless audience’s anticipation at their heels, Sheffield native, Oddity Road stormed the stage with utter conviction. For their final night of their tour they’d play a sold-out show to a healthy mix of adoring fans and new comers.
